In a bid to enhance security and combat crime in Ogun State, the state government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, donated 25 patrol vehicles and drones to the Police Command.
The donation was made during a visit by the Inspector-General of Police (IG), Kayode Egbetokun, to the governor's office in Abeokuta.
Governor Abiodun emphasized the importance of collaboration between the state and federal governments in ensuring security, promising continued support for law enforcement agencies.
The IG, accompanied by senior police officials, expressed gratitude for the support and pledged to establish more police formations in the state to maintain its peaceful environment.
However, he also appealed for sustained support from the governor to further strengthen the capacity of the police force in Ogun State.
