In a statement released on Sunday, the family of the late Prince Abubakar Audu refuted claims of harboring the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, in their family residence.

Mohammed Abubakar, son of Prince Audu, clarified that their home in Ogbonocha, Ofu Local Government Area, is strictly a private residence for family members and not a refuge for any political figure.

The statement comes in response to rumors suggesting Bello sought shelter at the Audu family house following reports of his disappearance amid an EFCC raid at his Abuja residence.

Abubakar emphasized their commitment to honesty and integrity, urging the public to exercise discernment when encountering such unfounded claims.
