In a heartwarming display of generosity, Billionaire Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, renowned for his philanthropic deeds and leadership at Christ Mercy Land church, has stepped forward to alleviate the suffering of the family left behind by the tragic boat accident.
Fufeyin's contribution of N10 million to the family of the late Engr. Precious Ofurum, a talented sound engineer who lost his life alongside Nollywood star Junior Pope, has garnered widespread admiration and commendation from Nigerians.
This act of kindness serves as a shining example of empathy and solidarity during a time of immense grief and loss for the nation.
The tragic incident, which claimed the lives of Engr. Precious Ofurum, Ms Abigail Edith Frederick, and Junior Pope, has deeply saddened the country, prompting gestures of support and consolation from various quarters.
Earlier, Akwa Ibom state governor, Pastor Umo Eno, had visited the family of late Nollywood make-up Artist, Ms Abigail Edith Frederick, to offer condolences and assistance.
During his visit, Governor Eno pledged to support the deceased's two undergraduate sisters with their education and approved the remodeling of their family house in Eket.
Additionally, he offered automatic employment to the deceased's elder sister in the state civil service and directed the renovation of their home.
