 OMEOGO CONVENES THE MEETING OF HOUSE OF REPS COMMITTEE ON INTER-GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS.

The Member representing the wonderful people of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu (Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu), who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs of the 10th National Assembly, on Tuesday, 19th March 2024 convened the meeting of the Committee.

The meeting was convened to digest, x-ray, adapt and agree on the Committee's work plan which is to run from July, 2023 – December 2024.

After welcoming the Committee members, staff of the Secretariat, auxiliary staff and members of the press to the first committee meeting after inauguration, the Chairman, High Chief Omeogo asked for team work, collaboration and at the end of it all, “it is expected of us to work diligently towards achieving the goals of the Committee, which is one of the best Committees of the 10th Assembly”.

Discussions were made exhaustively on some inherited bills of the 9th Assembly, motions and other referrals of the 10th Assembly with the aim of reporting back to the floor of the house for further legislative action within the shortest possible time.

Omeogo is for us, he is our man in Abuja, he is doing great. The voice of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East is getting loud and must be heard very loud and clear.
