FG APPROVES N1.06TRN COASTAL ROUTE PROJECT
The Federal Government has approved the construction of a 700-kilometer coastal route, spanning from Lagos through nine coastal states, ultimately reaching Cross River.
This ambitious project according to the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi is set to connect major cities, including Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Port Harcourt, and Akwa Ibom. Additionally, two spurs will extend to the north, linking to the ongoing Badagry-Sokoto route and the trans-Sahara route to Cameroon.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the initial phase covering 47.47 kilometers, which is valued at approximately N1.067 trillion.
